“AsstrA Polska is spreading its wings. The branch in Małaszewicze, located in Poland’s eastern Lublin Province, is AsstrA’s seventh site in Poland. Małaszewicze has one of the most internationally important railway transhipment terminals. There goods are transshipped from broad gauge 1,520 mm rolling stock to 1,435 mm standard gauge rolling stock. These intermodal transport capabilities enrich AsstrA’s offerings and provide future alternatives to road transport,” says AsstrA Country Manager for the Polish Region Mariusz Borkowski.
In addition to AsstrA’s new office in Małaszewicze, the corporate group’s other Polish branches are located in Warsaw, where AsstrA Polska Sp. z o.o. is headquartered, and in Poznań, where the oversize cargo specialists of the AsstrA Heavy Lift Department are based. There are also maritime transport branches in Gdańsk and three customs agencies located in Białystok, Koroszczyn, and Kuźnica.
