In August, the Swiss group of companies AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG successfully coordinated the unloading of electric vehicles from one of China’s leading manufacturers. The shipment arrived in a 40-foot high-cube container (40HQ) at a partner’s warehouse in Malaszewicze, Poland.
The container was transported from China via rail. AsstrA team managed the unloading process on the Polish side: containers were collected from the station and transported to the terminal, where the vehicles were carefully unloaded. From there, a tow truck arranged by the client took the cars for onward transportation to Moldova. AsstrA experts also handled the transit declaration (T1) and returned the empty container to the station.
“Typically, we handle palletized cargo, so unloading cars directly from containers was a valuable learning experience for our team. Working with vehicles of this level required careful attention and precise coordination among all parties involved. Thanks to the professionalism of our team and seamless collaboration with our partners, every step was completed swiftly and without issues”, — said Irina Topalova, Head of China Rail Europe Division at AsstrA.
“This project was first cooperation with this client, who approached AsstrA based on a recommendation. Our experts delivered the request efficiently and to a high standard, laying the foundation for ongoing collaboration. Today, this client is a regular partner, and we now organize similar monthly logistics on their behalf”, — added Alisa Urubleuskaya, Forwarder at AsstrA.
AsstrA continues to expand its focus on eco-friendly transportation and welcomes new challenges and projects in this area.
