In June of this year, the team at international logistics operator AsstrA successfully completed a project involving the transportation of dangerous cargo from Spain to Ukraine. The corporate client requested the delivery of cosmetic products. The cargo was classified as Class 3 hazardous material, necessitating logistics that adhered to stringent safety requirements and deadlines.
The process began with the loading of goods at three different sender warehouses in Spain. The first batch was loaded on June 4th, the second on June 6th, and the third on June 7th. All three batches were delivered to the final unloading point in Dnipro, Ukraine, by June 20th.
Given the hazardous nature of the cargo, AsstrA's specialists took additional measures to ensure safe transportation. All necessary documents for the transportation of dangerous goods (ADR) were prepared, and specialized transport that met the requirements for transporting hazardous materials of this class and group was selected.
"As part of the project, the client was provided with a full range of services: from delivery and customs clearance to detailed coordination at each stage throughout the project. The main challenges arose during the documentation process and subsequent amendments, as this required prompt intervention and flexibility in resolving emerging issues," shares Olena Alibekova, Specialist in the Consolidated Cargo Department at AsstrA Ukraine.
Thanks to meticulous planning and the professionalism of the team, the project was completed within the established deadlines, taking into account all client preferences regarding documentation. "This transportation once again demonstrated our ability to effectively manage complex logistics tasks and provide high-quality services in the field of dangerous goods transportation," concludes Olena Alibekova.
