On July 7, 2024, Anvar Khamitov, Head of Customs Services Kazakhstan Division, took part in the ascent of Almaty Peak (formerly Komsomol, Nursultan). The event attracted 1,500 participants, 350 of whom conquered the 4,376-meter peak.
The Almaty Peak Climb is a medium-difficulty climb, designed for trained climbers who can withstand altitude differences of up to 2,500 meters. In addition, participation requires not only physical fitness but also fortitude.
"It was an incredible adventure and a test of strength. Climbing Almaty Peak was not only a test of my physical abilities but also an opportunity to demonstrate that AsstrA employees are ready to overcome any height and difficulty.
