The 26th Kazakhstan International Transport & Logistics Exhibition was successfully held from 4-6 October 2023 in Astana. Attending the event were 226 exhibitors from 17 countries and more than 3,900 visitors.
Several experts from the AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG corporate group shared their impressions of the 3-day event, which was full of productive meetings and dealmaking.
Sergey Omelyanuk, CIS & Caucasus Region Director at AsstrA, notes: “TransLogistica Kazakhstan gave us a unique opportunity to strengthen business relationships and enrich our network of contacts. Our meetings with representatives of companies from different countries allowed us to exchange experiences and ideas. The connections we made opened the door to future business and initiatives that will promote the development of our company.”
Aiganym Baimagambetova, Country Sales Manager at AsstrA Kazakhstan, praised the superior organization of the expo: “This event provided a unique opportunity to meet partners and clients and to discuss joint projects. I was particularly happy to see many of our current clients in the crowd. Face-to-face discussions with clients are among the most valuable ways to determine their needs and make sure we are meeting them with high-quality service.”
“Every year, TransLogistica draws a great deal of exhibitors and visitors, so our meeting schedule was as full as ever. In the expo setting, during three days we could effectively address many issues that would have taken us months to handle over the phone or through email. Overall, our useful and inspiring discussions made our participation a success,” reported Nikolay Rukavishnikov, Deputy Operations Director for Rail Transportation at AsstrA.
“For us these were quite busy days holding meetings and making connections. Our primary goals were to build our network and showcase our strengths to potential partners, and we achieved them. Now we are negotiating new shipment deals with some carriers we met,” shares Ekaterina Borovenskaya, Italy, CIS, and Baltics Division Head at AsstrA.
“All went well and smoothly. Visitors knew their needs and came with real requests. The meetings we scheduled with clients were successful and we are already in the process of concluding a new contract,” adds Shugyla Ustemir, AsstrA Field Sales Specialist.
“During the event, some of our meetings were planned, some were unplanned, and they were all productive. We are looking forward to executing a wide range of interesting projects based on requests we received at TransLogistica,” said Aida Erlankyzy, AsstrA Customer Development Specialist.
