Demand Up for Consolidated Shipments

The 21st century is the age of fast service. The norm is now to order goods on one day and receive them on the next, with customer service backed up by an efficient supply chain.

Speed is an important factor in the delivery of consolidated shipments, i.e. small consignments from different customers sent on a single vehicle along a pre-defined route. After being collected from senders, goods are delivered to a consolidation warehouse and grouped into consolidated shipments.
