Turnkey Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine

Organizing transportation in Ukraine has become more challenging following Russia’s full-scale invasion. The AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG corporate group continues to provide transport and logistics services in several regions of the country. The majority of these services are related to humanitarian cargo deliveries. AsstrA specialists work with transport partners to organize the delivery of essential goods to Ukraine from the EU, the United Kingdom, and the USA.

Disruptions in supply chains and changing needs resulting from the fighting have left a number of commodities in short supply, with medical products among the most scarce. More medicines and health equipment are necessary in eastern Ukraine, which is where the majority of fighting and casualties are taking place. Filter ventilators are in constant demand.

“As part of our CSR program, AsstrA regularly helps and supports residents of Ukraine affected by the conflict. This time, the company purchased and delivered ventilator filters to a hospital in south-east Ukraine. Traditionally, our social projects are related to employees' sports events and caring for the environment. However, the current reality dictates other needs,” says Anastasiia Onoshko, Content Marketing Manager at AsstrA.

Ventilator filters wear out quickly. One item is enough for only 12-24 hours of operation. Hospitals need these filters all the time, especially when caring for many patients in serious condition. The AsstrA team is happy to help medical institutions with the purchase and delivery of these important, high-usage goods.

“Helping Ukrainians has become part of both our personal and professional lives since February 24. Our regular working agenda now includes organizing the delivery of humanitarian cargo. We managed to deliver these ventilator filters on our own: we drove them to Lviv by car then put them in our volunteer friends’ reliable hands.
