From May 17-19, Breakbulk Europe 2022 was held in Rotterdam. This year’s edition of the largest event in the international breakbulk cargo and project logistics industry brought together representatives of cargo owners, ocean carriers, freight forwarders, ports/terminals, heavy haulers, equipment manufacturers, and many other companies operating in this sector. The AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG team was there, holding a series of face-to-face meetings with customers and partners.
"We had a busy and eventful three days at this expo. We had a number of productive discussions exploring ways to strengthen cooperation with current and potential customers and partners. Judging by the event’s dynamism, there is a great deal of interest in this industry, and we have a great deal of development potential in it," says Dmitry Lagun, CEO at AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG.
“The conference in Rotterdam was overall a success, well organization and very well attended. The set-up of the 2 halls was perfectly adequate, and the attendees were able to move around the halls without too much congestion and inconvenience.
The AsstrA booth was perfectly located and was continuously busy with various partners and customers passing through to meet our Team. I firmly believe the AsstrA brand is now receiving the recognition we deserve, and this was clearly evident by the attention we received at our booth during the 3-day Conference. Our Team also took this opportunity to promote our Brand at the various Ocean Carrier and Container Operator booths, as well as other service providers. Side meetings were held by our Team with partners and attendees who showed interest in joining AsstrA for future employment.
Overall a thoroughly successful Breakbulk Conference for the organizers as well as AsstrA, so after the forced break due to the pandemic restrictions, this was an extremely worthwhile event for us to participate in, and I thank the AsstrA Team for their attendance and professionalism during the Conference,” shares Colin Bagwell, Global Head of Project Logistics at AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG.
"From our perspective, the Breakbulk Europe 2022 exhibition was excellent. It was very well supported by most of the key players in the project and breakbulk world, facilitating easy networking. We were able to meet face to face with some of our existing and prospective customers, and have made good connections with new ocean, port, and road sub-contractors. Overall, a resounding success," says Patrick Richardson, Global Head of Business Development for AsstrA Industrial Project Logistics.
“If I could describe this event with one word, it would be "huge"! There was a huge exhibition area and a huge amount of professionals in one place at one time. And a huge amount of work for us to prepare for and take part in this brunch event! It was definitely a pleasure to meet people in person again after a long, forced hiatus. It looks like the era of online-only events has finally come to an end, at least in EU, and I hope that the world will continue opening up,” emphasizes Anastasiya Onoshko, Content Marketing Manager at AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG.
