Membership in professional associations, organizations, and clubs helps companies create closer bonds with customers, demonstrate reliability, and showcase high-quality offerings.
Continuing to spread its logistics wings in yet another industry community, AsstrA UK Ltd joined the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) in April.
CILT is the UK’s chartered body for professionals involved in the movement of goods, people, and related supply chains. It aims to provide members with career opportunities, relevant news, networking connections, and professional recognition.
The CLT currently has 168 organizations as members, including hauliers, bus and coach operators, rail operators, retailers, manufacturers, third-party logistics providers, and other service providers.
“CILT supports corporate members by providing the knowledge, networking opportunities and the know-how to enable organizations to succeed in a fast paced and increasingly interconnected world. AsstrA aims to take advantage of CILT benefits to meet a wide range of goals such as supporting the development of our team, bench marking operational performance, increasing national exposure and raising awareness of AsstrA Industrial Project Logistics’ industry profile. We are delighted to be a part of this prestigious organization,” says Anna Smirnova, UK Head of AsstrA Industrial Project Logistics.
