10 Years of AsstrA Hi Tech Logistics

It's hard to imagine human life without electronic devices. There are gadgets for everything, from household chores to relaxing at the end of the day. It should not be surprising that there is strong demand for goods in this category all around the world. AsstrA shipped 20% more electronic goods in 2021 vs 2020. Over the last 10 years, the volume of shipments handled by AsstrA Hi Tech Logistics Department has increased five fold.

What services does the department provide?

We ship anything that plugs into an outlet. Since 2012, AsstrA has had a dedicated division serving the unique needs of customers from the hi-tech industry. We organize shipments of finished household appliances, consumer electronics, telecom equipment, and hi-tech equipment. We also transport components, materials, and spare parts for manufacturers operating in this sector.

What are the most popular shipping routes you serve? What modes of transport do you use?

Our most popular routes are Intra-EU, EU-CIS, Southeast Asia-EU, China-CIS, Türkiye-CIS, China-Türkiye, and Türkiye-EU. Our major transit lanes are between Europe and China. We take advantage of all modes of transport:  road, air, rail and sea. The choice of mode depends on the route and product type as well specific requirements. We select the most suitable option depending on each customer’s case.

Speaking of customers, what types pf companies do you serve? What would you say the advantages of working with AsstrA are?

Our client portfolio consists of some of the industry’s largest international and domestic manufacturers and distributors. For example, we work with Philip Haier, Samsung, LG Electronics, BSH, Ariston, Beko, Arctic, Electrolux, Gorenje (Hisense), TPV, TCL, Harper, MTS, Megafon, Yandex, Merlion, OCS, Polaris, Scarlett, Bork, Fujifilm, Canon, Xerox, Schneider, Delonghi (Kenwood), Sony, and many others.
