As is AsstrA’s annual tradition, in December 2021 the company held a creative competition for the children of its team members. This year, the theme of the competition was dream jobs and new perspectives on work.
The contestants created handicrafts, drawings, wrote poems and stories, took photos, and made videos on the given topic, i.e. how they think about their parents' jobs, trendy professions, and their own career plans.
“The competition guidelines are presented in a comic book format, so even the youngest children could understand them. The contestants showed great imagination. Viewing their work filled the jury with positive emotions,” said Victoria Ponomareva, HR Manager at AsstrA.
More than 150 submissions were received. The children were grouped into categories by age: 0-4 years, 5-9 years, and 10-15 years. The winners and runners-up received cash prizes.
“AsstrA employs people who love logistics. And love must be shared. That is why for the last 25 years our tradition has been to hold a children’s contest closely related to logistics. Children want to know what their moms and dads do at work. As part of this competition, the kids immerse themselves in their parents’ work as much as they can, depending on their age. But the real value is that the competition brings parents and children together to prepare for it. They get to know each other better in the process,” adds Aleksandra Pakush, Human Resources Director at AsstrA.
