In June 2021, the Logoisk Ski Resort in Belarus hosted Bison Race, a famous obstacle race event. Bison Race was awaited not only by enthusiasts from Belarus but also Russia, Ukraine and the Czech Republic. Every year the race becomes more difficult, intense, and spectacular. Obstacles made by both nature and man often require long, difficult maneuvers and challenging climbs.
Natalia Ratkevich, an AsstrA Group Freight Forwarder, took part in both the individual and team relay events. "I was not happy with my personal result: I took the 7th place in the race. Of course I got some experience, which I hope will help me to show good results at my next race in August. Such an extreme sport gives you a big shot of adrenaline and an incentive to keep going."
Since 2015, the Bison Race has been held in all types of weather. New obstacles and route variations are being made for the race every year. During the team relay, Natalya Ratkiewicz’s brave crew had to fight with not only the competition but also the rain.

"Our team managed to win first place in a tight contest with our comrades from St. Petersburg. It was neck-and-neck but we just managed to snatch victory. At the finish line everyone was expressing bright emotions with a lot of optimism and energy. The course was rainy, muddy, and thorny. At first sight, it hardly seems like fun, but it miraculously attracts hundreds of racers!” says Natalya Ratkevich.
