As of the end of July 2021, AsstrA is authorized to provide temporary warehouse storage services at the company’s facility in Blonie, near Warsaw. Customers may now take advantage of these services to optimize their logistics processes, especially with regards to customs clearance for imports and exports as well as corresponding documentation.
Short-term storage of non-EU goods is available for up to 90 days while their compliance is verified. Any necessary documentation may be completed, and additional sanitary or epidemiological tests may be performed prior to paying customs duties. The AsstrA warehouse fulfills all safety and technical requirements related to this process.

“We are now authorized to provide temporary storage industrial products with the exception of food products requiring special storage conditions. Our fully monitored warehouse has a full range of technical equipment supporting loading and unloading operations as well as customs inspections,” says Robert Szymanczak, AsstrA Warehouse Manager in Blonie.
Cargo placed into temporary warehouse storage must be declared to the customs and tax authorities. Owners have access to their temporarily stored goods but may not modify their appearance or properties.
“Temporary warehouse storage minimizes the costs of downtime, duties, and taxes. This solution makes it easier for clients to run their businesses and manage cashflow. In the first step towards providing short-term cargo storage, our site was approved for customs clearance at the beginning of this year,” adds Robert Szymanczak.
