From 21 to 23 May, the German city of Bremen hosted this year’s Breakbulk Europe, the largest event in the world of project logistics and XL goods transport. The Messe Bremen exhibition center opened its doors to 11,000 participants from 120 countries.
The AsstrA Group once again welcomed the event’s guests to its own stand. This allowed time at the expo to be put most efficiently towards meeting both current and potential clients and partners.
Yuliya Sadovodova, Head of the AsstrA Project Logistics Sales Division, shares her impressions after the event:
“This year, the number of participants surprised me. One more hall was opened, and that’s why there were significantly more exhibitors and visitors this year compared to last year. The organizers also added a new “speed dating” component to the event agenda. Short meetings allowed us to establish initial relationships with potential clients. Participation in such industry events allows us to take the first steps towards cooperation with project clients.”
Andrey Abramov, Deputy Head of the AsstrA Industrial Projects Logistics Division adds:
“From year to year, I grow more convinced that Breakbulk is the most important event in project logistics. The list of participants and visitors indicates that not only local European players but also global market leaders are interested in this event. Thanks to the meetings held, we obtained an enormous amount of information which has yet to be systematized. The format and decor of the exhibition create a constructive, friendly atmosphere that has a direct, positive impact on the outcome of negotiations.”
According to Marco Lachmund AsstrA Global Customer Development Manager and Benelux Country Manager, Breakbulk Europe is the right place for meeting with transport and logistics providers. At the exhibition, they discuss questions related to transport business processes:
“I would like to emphasize how well organized the exhibition was. Due to the effective, focused nature of the Breakbulk exhibition, we managed to hold interesting meetings – some of which could be the beginning of strong partnerships.”
Vladislav Lagun, Head of the AsstrA USA branch says:
“Breakbulk Europe 2019 was my first logistics exhibition. I was impressed by such a large crowd of transport industry people in one place. At the AsstrA stand, we were able to meet with potential suppliers and successfully outline our future partnerships. The exhibition provided an opportunity to expand our network of contacts and get acquainted with a lot of professional players in the industry.”
“Participation in such events has a positive effect on the company's image. Several eventful days of meetings provided an opportunity to collect a large amount of information that will guide further work. As Breakbulk Europe 2019’s big innovation, speed dating allowed us to hold even more meetings in a short period of time. I am sure that these quick “dates” will mark the beginning of a long-term cooperation with new customers,” concluded Dmitry Lagun, President of the AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG Group.
