AsstrA’s turnover from last year amounted to 287 million euros, which is 17% higher than in 2017. The corporate group’s gross profit increased by 18% and its client portfolio grew by 1,137 companies.
The total number of service trips in 2018 rose 16% to 141.5 thousand, with Russia-Russia flights as the most common trip type. Transport routes between Russia and Poland, Italy, Germany, and Belarus were the most popular, with 4,670, 3,975, 3,938, and 3,242 shipments executed, respectively.
AsstrA delivered goods on 65 new routes last year. That means the company's customers have access to 1,257 proven transport routes all around the world.
2018 was not the first year that road shipments were very popular. There were 122.8 thousand road transport orders executed, 30% higher than in 2017. Road shipments also accounted for the most revenue generated with 186.3 million euros, 8% higher than in 2017. There 4.2 thousand sea transport orders executed, 4 thousand by rail, and 2.8 thousand by air.
In 2018, AsstrA provided logistics services for companies from 35 different economic sectors. 4.4% of the total number of commodity items were from the furniture industry. In terms of volume of deliveries, the pulp and paper and electronics industries led the way with 3.4% and 2.8% of orders, respectively, with perfume, cosmetics and alcohol accounting for another 2.4%.

During the past year, we have grown our representative network and are now present in Valls, Spain, Vienna, Austria, Bucharest, Romania, Bucharest, Malaszewice, Poland, and Hof, Germany, says AsstrA CEO Dmitry Lagun.

We also aim to expand our network of logistics service providers in every country where we operate.
