AsstrA Russia, on behalf of the AsstrA corporate group, has officially joined The National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Associations of America (NCBFAA). AsstrA’s membership was formally approved by the Association’s Board of Directors on September 25, 2018.
NCBFAA was founded in 1897 and is headquartered in Washington, DC. Currently, NCBFAA represents the interests of more than 1,000 corporate members employing more than 110,000 international trade specialists, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and air cargo agents.
"Since January 2018, AsstrA has been offering its customers door-to-door import and export shipments between the US, Europe, and the CIS. Competition in the American logistics market is considerable, so joining such a significant organization will help us increase the number of reliable logistics partners in the US and will provide an opportunity to share know-how with other network members. When entering a developed and long-established market, one of the priorities is to study its characteristics and rules. Joining NCBFAA gives us an excellent way to do so – member companies receive a useful newsletter every week and many opportunities to participate in conferences and other industry events," says Vladislav Lagun, AsstrA USA Project Manager.
The AsstrA corporate group is actively developing its intercontinental competencies and now provides clients with import and export logistic services on 15 trade lanes involving the US.
