"On May 17, 2018, we signed the Charter of Bona Fide Foreign Economic Participants, as the customs clearance process has been simplified for signatories,” says AsstrA Head of Customs Anait Vasilyan. “By doing so, we officially undertook not to violate customs legislation, and the Federal Customs Service commited to helping create favorable business conditions and ensuring the acceleration of Russian trade in imported and exported goods. Also, customs clearance processing times are being reduced and the application of additional customs control measures is being minimized."
AsstrA provides customs clearance services in Russia, Belarus, and the European Union. Since 2012, the AsstrA group of companies has operated in Russia under customs broker license No. 0476/00 issued on 29.06.2012. AsstrA specialists support customs clearance at stations in the following cities: Moscow, Smolensk, St. Petersburg, Bryansk, Vladivostok, Nakhodka, Novorossiysk, Bataysk, Sebezh, Zabaikalsk, Krasnodar, Arkhangelsk, Yekaterinburg, and Vorsino.
AsstrA also supports the customs clearance of complex technological equipment that requires a goods classification decision from the Federal Customs Service. This service is necessary when the equipment is moved in disassembled or unassembled form in separate batches, possibly under different contracts, from different countries, with different countries of origin. In this case, a declaration is made with one HS code with, in most cases, a duty of 0% for one product or piece of equipment delivered in disassembled or unassembled form.
The company’s customs offices are located in Russia (St. Petersburg, Novorossiysk), Belarus (Minsk, Brest), Poland (Bialystok, Forge, Koroshchin), Germany (Magdeburg), and Lithuania (Vilnius, Klaipeda)
