In 2017 AsstrA specialists executed around 7,500 partial load orders, of which 2,000 involved Russia-bound routes. The routes in highest demand were as follows: 32% of freight traveled from Russia to Germany, 29% from Italy to Russia, 15% from Benelux to Russia, 10% from France to Russia, 4% from the UK to Russia. 65% of the freight consisted of clothes, 21% equipment, 5% food supplements, and 1% cosmetics.
AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG has been handling partial loads transportation since 2001. Today, the company serves 533 distinct routes, 52 of which include Russia.
Our LTL services are available only to companies. The minimum required weight for partial loads is 100 kg (220.5 lbs), and there is a maximum of 15 tones.
“During the past several years, the popularity of partial loads has increased significantly. Now, more companies are looking to cut down on warehouse storage expenses by organizing smaller, more frequent quantities of cargo with the intention of quickly distributing them,” says Alexandra Moseichuk, Head of the Partial Loads Department at AsstrA.
“In 2017 we managed to extend the reach of our partial loads transportation offerings to Central Asia, and the Caucasus. Also, here in Europe we launched several of our own partial loads consolidation lines, which allow us to reduce delivery expenses for both ourselves and our Clients. At every stage of partial loads delivery we have maximally optimized vehicle loads and can therefore offer favorable prices to our Clients. Until 1st August 2018, the price for partial loads delivery from Warsaw or Vilnius to Moscow is 80 euros per cubic meter of freight, with a minimum price per order of 370 euros.”
