In 2017, AsstrA shipped tires, car components, passenger cars, tractors, motorcycles, bicycles, trailers, and a wide variety of automotive parts.
Modes of transport for the automotive industry are chosen in regard to cargo specifications. The most frequently encountered surface transport orders are for cars shipped via trailers. When transporting tires, trucks are equipped with holders which protect the load against deformation. Passenger cars as well as construction and agricultural machinery are transported in suitably adjusted containers by sea, whereas small components of replacement parts are transported by air. If necessary, AsstrA specialists also develop multimodal transport solutions.
Goods exceeding the permissible dimensions or weight limits must meet special requirements. When transporting oversized cargo, the company pre-arranges specific routes with state authorities, organizes a transport escort, and seeks to prevent various potential organizational and technical complications.
