In January 2018, AsstrA opened a new office in Romania, Bucharest. Our expanding presence in Europe, the CIS, and Asia, brings AsstrA closer to our customers in the markets we serve. Therefore, we are able to respond to customer needs very fast and provide a wide range of services.
Romania Country Manager, Paweł Iwanow-Kołakowski, says: “Today Romania is one of the fastest growing economies in Europe. Domestic consumption is constantly growing. We have noticed a significant increase in the sales of international logistics services to Romanian customers, and we have been strengthening our Partnerships with transportation companies operating to and from Romania. We also strive to maintain Clients’ trust by being as local as possible. Because of all these reasons, we have decided to open our new office in Romania”.
From AsstrA’s wide range of services, the most popular in Romania is road transport. Currently, AsstrA’s orders are executed mainly within Europe, within the CIS, and between Europe and the Russian Far East and the CIS. However, considering AsstrA’s development prospects, the company is planning not only to start exporting goods to China and Asia, but also to offer intermodal container transportation to and from the Russian Far East and the CIS.

AsstrA’s new Romanian office offers professional services related to bulk, liquid, and oversized cargo. The company is constantly building on its established solutions to expand the scope of its offerings to better serve the FMCG, automotive, high-tech, textile, cosmetics, and machinery industries. Additionally, we offer cargo insurance, customs clearance support, project logistics, and consulting.
